On View Now at York Hospital: Oil Paintings by Sarah Cassani
A selection of oil paintings by Maine artist Sarah Cassani is currently on view in the York Hospital Dining Room and can be seen through the end of August. Sarah, a Maine artist and designer, received her BFA in Illustration from Rhode Island School of Design and has worked in the fields of graphic design and fine art for over twenty years. Sarah’s love of botanical subjects provides her with endless inspiration. Her floral “portraits” on exhibit are a celebration of the feelings of comfort, rush of memories, or spark of happiness that flowers and plants often evoke for individuals.
The York Hospital Café and Dining Room is open to the public Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. If you are unable to schedule a time to see these paintings in person, you are invited to learn more about Sarah and her work by visiting York Hospital's online gallery The online gallery is available 24/7 for viewing at your convenience wherever an internet connection is available. The online gallery page also lists the three artists whose work will be shown during 2024, as well as image galleries for all art installations since the online gallery first opened in April, 2021.
