York Hospital Welcomes David Hall as Chief Philanthropy Officer
York Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of David A. Hall as its new Chief Philanthropy Officer (CPO). With an extensive background in healthcare philanthropy, Hall will lead the hospital’s fundraising initiatives, strengthen donor partnerships, and support programs that enhance patient care across Southern Maine and the Seacoast.
Hall brings more than a decade of experience in healthcare development, most recently in Hartford, Conn., serving as Regional Director of Philanthropy and Volunteer Services at Hartford HealthCare, where he led successful fundraising efforts that expanded community resources and improved patient access to care. Prior to that, he held key leadership positions in Massachusetts at Greater Lawrence Family Health Center and Lowell General Hospital, where he spearheaded capital campaigns, cultivated major gift programs, and fostered deep relationships with donors and stakeholders.
“We’re thrilled to welcome David to York Hospital,” said Patrick A. Taylor, MD, President & CEO of York Hospital. “His expertise in philanthropy, coupled with his passion for community healthcare, will be invaluable as we continue to expand our services, strengthen our donor network, and enhance the exceptional care we provide to our patients.”

With a medical staff of over 200 physicians and specialists, the hospital offers advanced procedures in cardiology, surgery, and cancer treatment, all in a secure and healing atmosphere designed for comfort and recovery.
“I am excited to work with Dr. Taylor, my colleagues, and our partners in the community to make a positive impact at York Hospital,” said Hall.
